Program Details
The Graduate Professional will support the Security and Technology Programme’s Cyber Resilience Workstream at UNIDIR. Responsibilities include developing and disseminating research outputs, organizing events, drafting official documents, and engaging in outreach and partnership activities. The role also involves attending conferences, providing briefings, and contributing to daily administrative and coordination tasks. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international students from all countries
- Education:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (second university degree or higher), or
- Recently graduated (within one year) with a first or second university degree
- Preference for candidates enrolled in a PhD program
- Background: Interest or experience in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, international peace and security, disarmament, or the work of the United Nations
- Requirements:
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe InDesign, Canva, and quantitative research methods is an asset
- Fluency in English (oral and written); knowledge of another UN language is an advantage
- Demonstrated commitment to the UN’s core values: Professionalism, Integrity, and Respect for Diversity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
- Proof of valid medical insurance and a medical certificate of good health required before starting
- Age: No specific age requirement
