Program Theme
The ICANN Fellowship Program focuses on strengthening the multistakeholder model of internet governance. Fellows will be immersed in policy development, the operation and security of the Domain Name System (DNS), and the stability of the global internet. The program includes pre-meeting training, active participation during the ICANN Public Meeting, and post-meeting engagement to ensure ongoing contribution to the ICANN community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to applicants from all countries and regions
- Age: Minimum 21 years old
- Background: Individuals interested in or already engaged in ICANN’s work (policy, DNS operations, internet security)
- Requirements:
- Complete mandatory ICANN Learn courses
- Not be involved in other ICANN-supported travel programs at the time of selection
- Have received no more than two previous fellowships (second/third-time applicants must show active engagement in ICANN communities)
- Must have an ICANN Account to apply
- Policy Forum applicants must be Fellowship Program alumni
