Program Details
The FAO Internship Programme is designed to attract talented young individuals who are eager to share their perspectives and academic knowledge in fields relevant to FAO’s work. Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to nationals of FAO Member countries
- Age: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old
- Background: Enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program in a field relevant to FAO’s mission (institution must be recognized by the World Higher Education Database)
- Requirements:
- Working knowledge of at least one FAO official language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish); knowledge of a second language is an asset
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to an international, multicultural environment

- Candidates with close family members employed by FAO are not eligible
