Program Details

The UNFPA 2026 People Strategy Internships offer three specialized tracks:

  • People Analytics & AI Intern: Focuses on transforming HR through data, automation, and artificial intelligence. Interns will analyze workforce data, maintain dashboards, automate processes using AI tools, and prepare reports for leadership.
  • Human Resources Policy Intern: Involves HR governance, policy design, and organizational systems. Responsibilities include supporting policy development, conducting research, drafting reports, and collaborating with UN stakeholders.
  • Learning & Leadership Development Intern: Centers on training, onboarding, and leadership capacity development. Interns will coordinate learning activities, develop training materials, and use AI tools to enhance learning systems.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Open to applicants of all nationalities
  • Educational Background:
    • Currently enrolled in a postgraduate (Master’s or higher) program
    • In the final year of a bachelor’s degree
    • Graduated within the last 12 months
    • Enrolled in a postgraduate traineeship program
  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Skills & Requirements:
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and remote teams
    • Interest and/or experience in human resources, data analytics, learning & development, or related fields
