Program Theme
The theme for 2026 is “Innovating River Futures: From Sediment Science to Field Action.” Participants will explore sediment processes, innovative measurement and monitoring techniques, hydro morphological assessment methods, and integrated sediment management approaches. The program combines expert lectures, hands-on data analysis, field visits, and interdisciplinary teamwork to address real river basin challenges.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international students and young professionals worldwide
- Age: Young professionals with up to 5 years of experience; MSc and PhD students
- Background: Applicants from hydrology, environmental science, water resource management, geomorphology, civil and environmental engineering, ecology, policy, social sciences, and related fields
- Requirements:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Submission of a CV in English
- Submission of a 1–2 minute motivation video (in English, applicant must appear in the video)
