Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to citizens of developing countries (Asia, Pacific, Africa, South America, Eastern Europe)
- Age:
- Bachelor’s: Maximum 21 years old by 31 December 2026
- Master’s: Maximum 35 years old by 31 December 2026
- Doctoral: Maximum 40 years old by 31 December 2026
- Background:
- Bachelor’s: Must hold a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree holders are not eligible for bachelor’s level)
- Master’s: Must hold a bachelor’s degree
- Doctoral: Must hold a master’s degree
- Requirements:
- Valid passport (non-diplomatic, valid until at least 31 December 2027)
- English proficiency test (TOEFL ITP 477, TOEFL IBT 53, IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 510, or equivalent, taken within the last 2 years)
- Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin
- Recommendation letter from employer/immediate supervisor (or statement letter if unemployed)
- Academic recommendation letter from previous schools
- Legalized academic certificates and transcripts
- Medical report (physical, infectious disease, mental health, and drug test)
- 5-minute introduction video (profile, motivation for Indonesia, choice of university/program)
- Willingness not to marry or be married to Indonesian citizens or other scholarship recipients during the scholarship period
- Not currently in military service
