Program Details
The McCall MacBain Scholarship supports students enrolling in eligible master’s and second-entry professional undergraduate programs at McGill University. Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 entrance awards will be granted. Eligible master’s degrees include MA, MArch, MATL, MBA, MEd, MEng, MISt, MM, MMus, MPP, MSc, MScA, MScAPT, MScAOT, MSW, MUP, LLM, and STM. Second-entry professional undergraduate degrees include BCL/JD (Law), DMD (Dentistry), and MDCM (Medicine).
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international, Canadian, and U.S. students
- Age: Applicants who earned their first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago must be 30 years or younger in 2026
- Academic Background:
- Students who will complete their undergraduate degree by August 2027
- Applicants who earned their first bachelor’s degree within the last five years
- Applicants who earned their first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago (and are 30 or younger in 2026)
- Requirements:
- Meet McGill University’s degree and language requirements
- English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 86 (minimum 20 in each section) or IELTS 6.5+
- Proof of English proficiency may be waived if:
- English is your mother tongue
- You have (or are about to obtain) a degree from Canada or the U.S.
- You have lived and studied or worked for at least four consecutive years in a country where English is the primary language
- You have (or are about to obtain) a degree from a recognized institution where English is the language of instruction
