Program Details
The UNDP Business Operations Internship is designed to provide practical experience in service delivery, logistics, procurement, HR, and administration. Interns will support UNDP’s global operations, including ICT and Green Energy projects, and work closely with teams across more than 170 countries. Duties include assisting with procurement processes, inventory management, recruitment, data analysis, and administrative tasks. Interns will also participate in outreach activities and contribute to the improvement of internal processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international students eligible for residency and undertaking an internship in Denmark
- Education: Applicants must meet one of the following:
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (master’s or higher)
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor’s or equivalent)
- Recently graduated with a relevant university degree (must start internship within one year of graduation)
- Enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program
- Background: Preferred fields include international business, finance, management, economics, administration, logistics, procurement, HR, or related areas
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel required; experience with customer service, procurement, financial reporting, HR recruiting, and SharePoint is an advantage
- Other Requirements: Must provide proof of health insurance and medical certificate of good health; responsible for securing visas and travel arrangements
