The CICOPS Scholarships are intended for visiting scholars who wish to spend a period of 4 to 12 weeks at the University of Pavia to collaborate on research projects. - Nationality: Applicants must be residing in a World Bank low-income, lower-middle income, or upper-middle income country at the time of application.
- Academic Background: Must hold a PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) and be currently employed at a university or higher education institution.
- Professional Experience: Alternatively, applicants with at least two years of employment as teaching, lecturer, research, or technical staff at a university, public/non-profit research center, or intergovernmental/international public institution (with documented research/technical duties) are eligible.
- Research Output: Applicants must have at least two recent scientific publications or research outputs in the field of the proposed joint research.
- Invitation Letter: A formal letter of invitation from a professor at the University of Pavia is required before submitting the application. Applications without this letter will not be considered.
