Program Details
The HENNGE Global Internship Program offers two distinct pathways:
- Full Stack Engineering Pathway: Gain experience in designing back-end APIs, front-end interfaces, and DevOps. Projects include application development, infrastructure, and cloud integration using Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Front-End Engineering Pathway: Focus on developing front-end applications with TypeScript and frameworks like React or Vue. Learn about state management, data fetching, and integration with back-end services and cloud infrastructure.
Each pathway is supported by direct mentorship, technical reviews, and hands-on training with AWS. Interns work closely with experienced engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international students and recent graduates worldwide
- Academic Level: Third-year undergraduate or higher (including Master’s and Doctoral students). Recent graduates are also eligible.
- Background: Pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience from a tech internship or bootcamp
- Language: Fluency in English (no Japanese required)
- Technical Skills:
- Full Stack Pathway: Proficiency in Python, Go, or React/Vue in TypeScript; knowledge of Linux/MacOS/Unix-like environments
- Front-End Pathway: Proficiency in React or Vue in TypeScript; understanding of state management, data fetching, and scalable front-end development
- Additional Requirements: Interest in open source or tech community activities and in pursuing a career in Japan
- Preferred Experience (at least three):
