Program Details
As a residential volunteer, you will join a vibrant team delivering outdoor activities and life skills training to thousands of young people. The programme includes a full induction, ongoing training, and opportunities to lead and create new activities. Volunteers work an average of 35 hours per week, with schedules varying by season. The experience is designed to build your confidence, leadership, and teamwork abilities while making a positive impact on youth from the UK and around the world.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to applicants from the UK, Europe, and worldwide
- Age: Must be 18–30 years old at the start of the placement
- Background: Prior experience in scouting and/or working with young people required
- Requirements:
- Good standard of English
- Individual participants only (no partners, children, or family members)
- Ability to provide a reference letter and, if applicable, membership confirmation from your National Scout/Guide Organisation
