Program Details
The UNICEF OED Internship is designed to support the Executive Director’s office with tasks related to executive coordination, research, and knowledge management. Interns will assist with compiling background documents, summarizing key outcomes, and developing systems for knowledge management. This role provides exposure to high-level organizational leadership and the chance to contribute to UNICEF’s global mission.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Open to international students and recent graduates
- Education: Enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past two years) from an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. program in Law, International Relations, Politics, Communications, Management, or related fields. Postgraduate study is desirable but not required.
- Work Experience: 6 months to 1 year in project management, executive support, communications, writing, or knowledge/data management
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and writing skills; ability to work under pressure; good judgment and analytical ability; familiarity with knowledge management and SharePoint is a plus
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English
- Other Requirements: Commitment to UNICEF’s core values (Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, Sustainability); open to all backgrounds and abilities; compliance with UNICEF’s safeguarding and ethical standards
